We loved our stay in Gdansk at the Podewils. It is slightly out of the main historic district, and hence very quiet, although the main district is available with a 5 minute walk. The staff and ownership of the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and eager to help in all ways. Good location, about 18 minutes away from WAW airport. Very clean room, fantastic breakfast and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would book again when in Warsaw.

The most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in, instant hot water, quiet and great hotel restaurant. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, but I must make special mention of personable Sebastian. Hotel is in a great location for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. My stay was extremely pleasant. A definite return for me.

I arrived going to be a technical university conference as a Plenary speaker, in May. The hotel directed me to use the Polish tram system, to a location Gdansk Technical university 10 kilometers away, thereby saving me at least 100 USD in three days of non stop travel all over Gdansk, and the morning breakfast was a REAL meal, which turned into my daily MAIN meal. I will be back here every time we come to Gdansk. The room was beautifully decorated, well designed, had everything you could want. We stayed in a suite in the oldest part of the building with a skeleton key to open the door! Original wood, beautiful plaster details, comfortable bed. The sauna is free to guests and is spacious and never crowded. Their breakfast is amazing and the service was really tailored. About a 15 minute walk to old town.

Nice room with great ventilation. The location is the best in town but gets loud outside on fridays and saturdays. Would be nice if the towel rack was electric. Only turns on when it's below 15 Celsius. So it was always quite damp in the room since we were three adults.

The location of this hotel is excellent, but as Rick Steves notes in his guidebook, it’s a very basic accommodation. My room stank like a wet dog, so I slept with my windows open to air out the place. I thought it was the carpet at first, but the stench was permeated in the mattress and in the mornings my pjs and I also smelled of it. There were obnoxious, drunken tourists also staying at this hotel, and one of them had the room next to mine. His friends would start pounding repeatedly on...

I stayed at the Sheraton Warsaw for a 1 night business trip. The room was as in the picture, amenities are great and breakfast buffet is amazzzzing!! The draw backs were: the room cleanliness. I could see dust on the mirror surrounding the bed, and one trashcan wasn't emptied at all. I also found a hair in the washing sink.

Subtly understated , so well designed I just hope that can keep being able to afford it. The food is prepared and served with care. Great place to rest and recharge batteries any time of the year

Property gets high marks for great location to have as a base. Rooms were very good sized and comfortable. The only slight negative was there were alot of late night revelers on the street in front of hotel.

Great overnight stay for layover. Wish there was free breakfast, coffee, and airport transport shuttle.

The room was small but comfortable. No real place to open your luggage but there is a small bench in the room. The hotel has a huge banner hanging on the outside of the building that covers several floors which is unfortunate because it blocks your view.

This is an attractive and well located property on the river. Our room was small but fine for a short stay. The lines to seek check-in or out could be long. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again although I’m a Hilton Honors status person. Was staying here because family was here.
