Right size, beautiful artsy. Phone number for property in Expedia did not work, fortunately there was a number listed outside the building that did. Check in instructions could be better written, description of breakfast and fruit,vegetables should be revised as only available seasonally. U pick from garden. The Rivulet was a WONDERFUL surprise. The hotel and room mixed old world charm with modern technology. We were greeted with complimentary port wine and fine chocolates. Then each morning breakfast was an amazing assortment of food and drink, served by helpful staff. If and when we return to Tasmania, we will stay there again!

The Islington is a wonderful place to stay in Hobart. I was initially going to book downtown, but decided to try the Islington. I was very pleased with that decision. We had a great dinner at the property. The room was quite and comfortable, and we had a garden patio out our back door. The staff was very helpful, and the setting with the house and art work, makes you feel like you are staying with a rich relative that had very good taste.

Our visit was during Christmas and it was our honeymoon. I don’t think any other place would have been as perfect. We stayed in the gardeners cottage in the middle of an incredible garden. The two story little house is adorable and functional. We agreed it has the best shower in the world and that’s not even in the top 10 lovely things about the place. A magical time in a magical place. We stayed in the Walter (split level two bed room/bath rooms) that was amazing. Great amenities, helpful attentive staff, great food and drinks. The Mona Museum was incredible too. All around it was a most memorable and magnificent time in this gorgeous place!

The Henry Jones hotel is a lovely place to spend your days in Hobart. The rooms are large and have a nice view of the harbor. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again if in Hobart.

The staff was wonderful and helpful in easily securing a dinner reservation. Dinner was delicious and the sunset view was gorgeous! I loved being walking distance form the beach!

The hostess Fiona wad amazing. Accommodating with my late arrival. Excellent breakfast. Eggs were perfect. And she was good luck, as her advice about where to find platypus was perfect! Great place to stay!!! Wifi could havr been a bit faster. But that's ok.

A wonderful modern cottage on a little cliff overlooking Dunalley Bay. Very close to attractions on the Tasman Peninsula and just an hour away from the ferry to Maria Island. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I honestly wish I had booked another night rather than moving up the coast for our visit to Maria, as the drive back would have been very easy.

Great location and brand new hotel. Parking a car is not on-site which is a bit of a bummer but nice walkability and easy Hwy access. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Convenient location to waterfront. Clean, comfortable, with a friendly staff. The included breakfast is nice as well.

The unit was well designed, tastefully furnished and quite comfortable, with a two story design that allowed for a spacious open area and functional kitchen, with the second level containing the two sufficiently large bedrooms and a bathroom. On site laundry was a definite plus and the complimentary laundry detergent was much appreciated. Everything about our stay was great EXCEPT on the last night from1230am till 4am neighbors played music that literally shook the building!!! I didn’t call the police since the owners lived next store.
