The Charles was located in a great location. Although not in the centre of town, it was only a short walk to restaurants, pubs and cafes. A very quiet area and close for exiting the city on your way to Hobart or the north & west coasts. Fantastic and super helpful staff. I wish other hotels would have staff as attentive and cheerful as The Charles We inadvertently left behind a phone charger which was recovered and returned to us on our next visit to Launceston. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit
