The Dolder Grand is simply the finest hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. From staff service to the amenities of which there are many, to the accommodations themselves, the Dolder Grand is unmatched in quality by any standards.

Lovely property in a quaint part of town. 2 blocks from the lake and an abundance of restaurants. Staff were the nicest most helpful I've ever encountered. Very large room and very comfortable. Highly recommend

Great location 3 minutes from airport by foot

The hotel is great. Rooms are big modern and clean, the view of the lake is fantastic , and the staff is excellent. It is however a bit of a walking and 15 min of public transport to go to Zurich so may not be the most convenient place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time in Zurich..

Excellent in all ways.Be sure to check out Ruen Thai a few doors down if you stay here. It’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had!

The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering how expensive...

High tech

We had an awesome time and absolutely loved the apartment. There was one main bedroom and then there were 3 additional beds, which worked perfectly for us. The drive to Zurich was only 20 minutes and there were great restaurants and stores nearby so we didn't have to travel very far. The entire apartment was extremely well kept and clean. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for an inexpensive place to stay not too far from Zurich.

We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

The rooms are really big and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with a very large spread of food and high quality. The location is also very good. Close to zurich airport and 7 mins to downtown.

We had a fantastic room on the third floor with a view of the beautiful lake. The staff were extremely pleasant especially checking in and out. The breakfast was very good and so fresh. Tea and coffee plentiful as with croissants and all other quality breakfast items. The beds are super comfortable and room spacious. Will definitely be coming again.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our Switzerland trip. We arrived around 11 am and we were able to check in early. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of restaurants, shopping etc but it also wasn’t loud at night as we slept with the window opened every night. The hotel thought of every little detail. On arrival, one could have a cool drink. In the room they had all sort of things to make tea or coffee. there was a bathrobe, slippers. great towels. the bed was very comfortable Even in the hallway comming of the lift, were always apples waiting for you \Location is very good. Very pleasant. Five minute walk to old town and major shopping street. Roof top sitting area to enjoy a view on to the city with a drink. Restaurant, sitting area etc. Well done in keeping with a smaller European hotel.

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in Lucerne at the Cascada. The hotel is a convenient distance from the train station, an easy walk with luggage but far enough away that you can't hear trains. Reception was excellent and was able to get us into our room a couple hours before check-in time. They also were able to put us in a room towards the quiet back side of the building (little to no street noise.) Switzerland uses outlet plugs which are different from anywhere we've been in Europe....
