What an amazing hotel! The location and staff were just perfect. If you have the opportunity, you must stay here and get the ocean view. We will absolutely be back!

The room was amazing, huge and comfortable, and was very clean. Breakfast is also good. Hotel offers kayaking and other activities for free. The pool is not so big and there are no chairs at pool area. I didn’t like the location. The beach where the hotel is located was not so beautiful, and you have to take a pretty bad unpaved road to get to the hotel.

We had a great stay at Cielo Maya. Located right on the beach with a pier and some hammocks. Also has a pool and some swinging chairs. Breakfast was included and great considering all the options. Rooms are a little dated without any USB ports but otherwise clean and very comfortable for the price. We were also able to rent a car directly from the hotel which was a great benefit and helped us a lot with day trips to other Mayan ruins and a beautiful lagoon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great stay on a reasonable budget.

The staff were friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the AC. It only started working on our last night there but the rest of the time it was very muggy on our room. This place is very quiet and away from the main town which was nice. The restaurant food was delicious and the wait staff were awesome!

Breakfast was very good. But extra for oranfe juice and chicken was extra. Room AC was very loud but it worked good. Great sea view. The beach was horrible. No place to walk. The whole front was packed with seawee.. steps foe pier to the water which was very slippery. The front desk staff was excellent. We felt safe throughtout the area. Overall Tulum wasnt as good as i thought. Would never come back

Pro: Beautiful beach, quiet, secluded from busy downtown, staff was very accommodating, nice pool, offers activities, close to other hotels for food, not too far from attractions Con: poor water pressure, repairs needed, If you want to swim in the water, bring water shoes! The rocks underneath will hurt your feet. Also, take a taxi or rent a car from the airport. The shuttle is expensive. Overall, I would book this location again
