The hotel has a lot of charm and a real sense of exclusivity. It's an oasis of peace and happiness. The lagoon is superb and we really enjoyed swimming in it and laying alongside it. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant in the evening offers high-quality dishes, including desserts. Very nice and sympathetic staff. We also loved the movie night with pop corn! The only negative element is that, in our room, there was practically no Wi-Fi (laptops were able to connect to it, smartphones weren't - the signal was too weak).

The hotel is a great place to get away from the world and relax overlooking the amazing lagoon. The rooms are like you are glamping with an outdoor shower and ok a/c. The staff are lovely. The restaurant served a mix Middle Eastern and Mexican food. Good healthy choices, but expensive. You also don’t sit by the lakeside but in a separate jungle space, which is odd as they have a pretty restaurant by the water that we ate at on the first night and then were told was only open on Saturdays. Finally your car is a 5 minute ride by golf buggy from the hotel complex which means that you can’t just pop out if you want to.

Loved everything about this place. Peace and quiet. Great service. You can get picked up on their dock for great private boat tours. Good was delicious. We went from Cancun to Bacalar in the Mayan Train and the hotel helped us with the transportation from and to the train station. I also recommend the mayan train.

This was an amazing place to stay. Surronded by such beauty and amazing sunrise and sunsets. The rooms are stunning and comfortable. The staff, well, amazing is an understatement. I also had two massages and the Mezcal Ceremony, highly recommend both. Every single meal was delishious and thoughtfully prepared. I will be back. Love this place!
