Very friendly and helpful staff. There is only street parking, but not hard to find, behind the hotel area. So many restaurants right there. Drove to the most famous Cretan beaches, but the local beach is also very nice. very picturesque. We could see the lighthouse from our window.
We could not have enjoyed our stay at Azade and Crete more. The location in old town is so convenient and close to all shops, restaurants and beaches. Staff were attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable. They even prepared us a breakfast to pick up when we had an early morning tour to Samaria Gorge. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay.
family owned property. Room I stayed in was newly renovated and much cleaner and nicer than any other property I stayed in Chania. Property seemed to cater more for families but as a solo traveler I was impressed by the amount of travel advice I got from staying at this property!

If there's anything that needs improvement, it would be the size of the bathroom. Way too tight. We are medium built yet you hit the walls or even the shower fixtures while in it.

Loved the pool. The villa was really clean and bright. You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. This hotel was really amazing!! it's newly built complex and had all the facilities you would need plus an amazing view of the ocean - the hotel is on a sandy beach which makes sunbathing and swimming (and doing yoga if you're into it) such a relaxing experience! Right opposite they have a cool island and the sunset from the rocks is a sight not to miss!! and most importantly the staff

Excellent stay with a wonderful view of the harbor. The breakfast is typical American & Mediterranean type. The terrace is good but the best view is from the balcony. Please be aware that there is no parking at the hotel and you must walk in from where the taxi drops you off… 100 yards.
The rooms, the building were picturesque. It was a dream. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the concierge when helping me find a taxi to catch a ferry; he went above and beyond.
For light sleepers, I’d recommend a room facing the courtyard instead of the water; the noise from the port is very loud at no fault of the hotel.
