Booked through Expedia. Ended up with a flight to Mexico city 8 1/2 hours from resort. When we called the resort to explain, there was ABSOLUTELY NO understand or accomadation for our situation. Can't say a word about the resort itself but the customer service was definitely lacking. Lost our entire trip expense with no empathy. Was heartbreaking to say the least.

I will not recommend this property as there is no free wifi in the rooms you have to pay for it & also for room service you have to pay.... there is no drinks in your room you have to pay for that also....food quality is not good too & also for dinner reservation you have to book in one day in advance

We have visited many Mexican resorts. This is a nice property. If you’re looking for an adult get away this isn’t the place. It is very family oriented. Which was ok with us. The buffets are limited but I felt the quality was good. The staff was working hard to keep up the grounds, and building. The staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were clean but I felt the beds were a bit hard for my liking. All in all it’s a good resort. We would return again.

I was upset because the Velero was included but we were not able to use it. You had to reserve it the day before but all of days that we were there it was booked. Also many of the things to do were closed like the rock climbing, archery, rifle. We had to leave the resort and find ways to entertain my grandchildren.

It was a pleasant experience, not the best we have had, when we arrived as we had before are check in they simply did not let us pass and we had to wait 3 hours standing on the street married and very hot, only if we paid for the early check in We had the right to pass security to the lobby, which we decided to pay for and it was super strange, super hidden, in the end we checked in and no one helped us with our bags, nothing very indifferent about the service. The beach area never had lounge chairs, a very strange thing because one wants to be on the beach, such a large hotel with 15 lounge chairs. I think we have a very high expectation.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Check-In Process and Underwhelming Amenities Unfortunately, our experience at this resort did not meet expectations. The check-in process was frustrating—despite our Expedia booking clearly including our child, we were charged an additional fee upon arrival. There was extensive back-and-forth communication between hotel management and an Expedia representative, but no resolution was provided. Neither party took responsibility for the miscommunication, and we, as guests, were left to absorb the extra cost. The dining experience was also disappointing. The main buffet offered only two or three main dishes with little variety, and the food was often served cold. The only exception was the reservation-only restaurant, which had slightly more variety. However, the service there was extremely slow, and meals were again served cold or after long delays, making it hard to enjoy the experience. The beach was another letdown—strong currents and waves made it unsafe and unenjoyable for swimming or relaxing on the sand. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurants and bars were friendly and attentive, and the evening entertainment with the dancers was a bright spot during our stay. Despite a few highlights, the overall experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this resort until significant improvements are made.

Muy buenas experiencias.

Las personas de actividades, recepcion y limpieza excelentes y son muy amables casi todos en el hotel, se ve que cuidan eso. Tambien reconocer a los salvavidas que estan MUY atentos y previenen muchos accidentes... he estado en otros hoteles donde solo buscan que no se ahogue alguien en el mejor de los casos. Tenian el restaurante principal cerrado y eramos muchos usuarios los ultimos 2 dias lo cual fue complicado. Esperamos 30 min por un omelete el ultimo dia... No servir alcohol en exceso crea una ambiente padre y de respeto ojala conserven eso... he pasado malas experiencias donde personas alcoholizados acosan en el hotel y aqui cuidan mucho. Fue mi primera ocasion en el azul pero he estado 4 veces en el Grand. Me parece tienen una oportunidad para buscar actividades niños de 13 a 15 años. Mi recomendacion con niños menores de 10 años es el Azul menos lujo y opciones de comida pero las areas de niños estan increíbles y las actividades muchas son aqui... en ambiente de pareja o niños mayores de 16 sin duda el Grand.

Tiene muy buen servicio de meseros son muy serviciales, mejor que los de recepción. En las regaderas donde te enjuagas el agua de mar olía a orines. Deben limpiar mejor ahí. La comida es rica.
