Amazing view, close to the tram, affordable luxury!

Our stay at Rydges was perfect! The room was lovely and the river view was spectacular! There is much within walking distance and lots to do in the area.

This resort had a different view from every room. It was fantastic view...the city, the ocean & beaches, yacht club & more! I was totally happy with my room! Everything you would need was there! Bed was even very comfortable!

Check in was easy, friendly staff, we were upgraded to a room on 20th floor, with the best view of the Brisbane River. Room was on a small size to unpack or move around, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and tasty, coffee from the coffee machine was the best we ever had! Overall, we really enjoyed our 3 nights stay!

Everything was wonderful

The staff was wonderful! They initially upgraded our room and when the air conditioning didn’t work they immediately moved us to another room and comped us for the inconvenience. The area around the hotel has a lot to see and do.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely facility for a week in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We had booked a standard room and were pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to a one-bedroom suite complete with a bottle of champagne for our celebration! The Holiday Inn Express (HIE) is fairly centrally located to the business district in Brisbane. It is within walking distance of most the downtown attractions, close to river access and the Central Train station. (The Central train station is an 8-10 minute walk from the HIE, with direct service to the BNE airport.) The staff at the HIE was particularly helpful and responsive. The hotel is breathtakingly opulent. We had a minor problem with our room which the staff resolved extremely kindly and quickly. We will stay again.
