We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and we honestly couldn’t fault the service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again. Breakfast was excellent and beds where really comfortable. Only disappointment was bathroom was really small in King room. You could only get in one person at a time. 2 was a real squeeze. Also our bathroom felt dated and ready for refit.

This was great hotel, in a fantastic location. We had a balcony room at the front of the building and it had a great view. My only criticism is that breakfast finishes very early for a hotel that is in a holiday location but we did find plenty of options around the city. Over all great hotel in a good location with friendly and helpful staff.

Honestly I feel led astray by the good reviews this place got. It is VERY old and the air conditioning I. The rooms barely works. Our room smelt like dead fish. Thankful we were only staying one night. I will say the staff was friendly and the pool was decent enough.
