Cavill Avenue buzzes with shoppers and street performers by day, while bars and clubs light up the night scene. From the SkyPoint Observation Deck to endless golden sands, you'll find the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement for beach lovers and night owls alike. Getting around is a breeze with the G:link light rail and nearby Cypress Avenue and Florida Gardens stations. Beachfront dining options range from casual cafes to rooftop restaurants serving fresh seafood. High-rise hotels and holiday apartments dominate the skyline, offering stunning ocean views just steps from the action.

Broadbeach
Broadbeach delivers the Gold Coast's greatest hits in one sun-drenched package. The Star Casino dazzles next to Pacific Fair's shopping paradise while surfers catch waves along golden shorelines. Festival vibes keep the energy flowing year-round with live music and markets drawing crowds to oceanfront parks and plazas. Getting around couldn't be easier with the G:link light rail connecting you to Surfers Paradise and beyond. From luxury high-rises to beachfront apartments, accommodations offer ocean views and easy access to international dining options and cocktail lounges that hum well into the night.

Coolangatta
Gold Coast's Coolangatta neighborhood is known for its beaches and restaurants, and entices visitors with attractions including Kirra Beach and Coolangatta Beach.

Southport
Southport's business district buzzes with activity while its stunning Broadwater Parklands offers a perfect escape for water lovers. The G:link light rail makes exploring super easy, connecting you to Gold Coast attractions without the hassle. Australia Fair Shopping Centre provides retail therapy when you need a break from beach time at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. Local cafes serve fresh seafood with waterfront views that'll make your Instagram followers jealous. Hotels range from sleek business-friendly spots to comfortable family options, all within walking distance of the parklands. The neighborhood's walkable streets mean you can ditch the car and enjoy the Gold Coast sunshine on foot.

Burleigh Heads
Burleigh Heads blends world-class surfing with small-town charm along the Gold Coast's most stunning stretch of sand. The headland's rainforest trails wind through Burleigh Head National Park, rewarding hikers with breathtaking ocean panoramas. Weekends buzz with the Village Markets, where local artisans showcase handmade treasures while surfers catch perfect waves at the famous break below. Beachfront cafes serve flat whites and acai bowls from dawn, while seafood restaurants offer fresh local catches as the sun sets. Most visitors stay in ocean-view apartments or boutique hotels just steps from the patrolled swimming areas. Though public buses connect to nearby Gold Coast attractions, the village core is best explored on foot.

Mercure Gold Coast Resort
"Great"
Novotel Surfers Paradise
"We loved staying here at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. The only thing I can suggest is that while they are asking the visitors to be “green”, they only offer 1 peg hook and a towel rail suitable for only 1 towel. Having more hanging areas for wet towels and bathers would be the icing on the cake."
Voco Gold Coast
"Simple easy check in with friendly and helpful staff"
Qube Broadbeach
"We always always love staying at Kube. I think this is probably the third or fourth year we’ve stayed in the same room, getting away during the colder months duringMelbourne’s winter. We did make comment this time though. That the room probably needs to glow up in furniture, carpet, art etc. For the price you’re paying it’s starting to look a little stale. Still a great place though."
Sea World Resort
"Good whether staff were very helpful, as my wife and I are older the kids screaming and yelling will probably see us going else were. But thank you to the staff 10 out of 10 for customer service love it"
Nightelier Mermaid Waters
"The room was clean, staff were courteous, breakfast was included and great, bar was fabulous and dining options were fantastic. Location is good and not far from the beach. Overall a great value for money experience."
Mantra on View Hotel
"Two adults and two little kids stayed here on Friday and Saturday night over the Airshow weekend. I had read some of the other reviews and I had low expectations thinking it was going to be a bit tired. But our room was great. Clean. The room itself was modern and fresh. Two double beds in the one room, as expected. Big bathroom. It was great having a combined shower bath so the kids could have a bath. Very comfortable. No issues with bed comfort or water pressure. Balcony is very small- I don’t like when there are table and chairs pushed up against the balcony railing. Overall, exceeded expectations."
