"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hera Cave Suites. The room was very large with a nice sitting room downstairs and the bedroom and bath upstairs. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The staff we interacted with were all very helpful and friendly, The breakfast was phenomenal… so many delicious items to eat, both sweet and savory, including meats, many bread products, pastries, fresh fruits, dried fruits and nuts, cheeses and lots more. The hotel was a nice walk to downtown with all the restaurants and shops, but it was far enough away from the downtown area to be quiet and peaceful."

"We travel around the world every year. Very rarely you would find a stay that's as unique as this. The main strength of this property is its staff starting with the manager. He went above and beyond his standard responsibilities helping us out to make our Cappadocia vacation a success. His leadership in not only managing his team but also supporting us for our activities was just phenomenal. His commitment and respect for his guests were incomparable. The Manager's attitude and character was reflected throughout his leadership of an excellent team. The housekeeping team, breakfast team and connected transportation were superb. Everyone was very respectful and competent in their operational duties. His operational excellence is that of managing five star chains. The property was in excellent shape. Very clean, upscale though modest. Very clean and spacious. We would have liked a bit brighter lights but people who loves an all time dreamy atmosphere, this property will amaze them. I would personally rate our room a piece of art living in a cave in superior comfort. We would come back again and recommend this property for peaceful vacation."

Carus Cappadocia

"I stayed at Carus Cappadocia for three nights in September 2026. The good: The hotel has one of the best locations in central Göreme - literally a two-minute walk from the main street, with much less uphill walking than at many other hotels. Breakfast is a preset menu rather than a buffet, but adequate, and the rooftop restaurant has fantastic views and excellent service. The bathroom is spacious, water pressure is good, and Molton Brown toiletries are a nice touch. There is also a small indoor pool. The bad: This is a “cave” hotel. My Suite had character but was certainly not luxurious. The AC/heat system did a poor job controlling the temperature, requiring frequent manual adjustments. The in-room safe is tiny - not large enough for a laptop - and mine stopped working shortly after being repaired. The mixed: Wi-Fi and cellular reception did not reach the bathroom, presumably because of the thick cave walls. Parking is very limited, although the staff helped secure a spot throughout my stay. Overall: I would consider Carus a solid 3.0–3.5-star hotel in a superb location. If you want the cave-hotel experience in central Göreme, it is an excellent choice - just arrive with appropriate expectations."

"We had a lovely stay at the Vita Cave Hotel during our short stay in Capadoccia. The property is beautiful outside, and in the room. The staff was super helpful and were kind enough to allow us to check in early. We then proceeded to explore the city it is in, Ortahisar which is also beautiful and worth walking around the downtown of the city. Overall highly recommend!"
