I had a wonderful stay. The terrace for breakfast has a great view, and the area is peaceful. I came without a car and had to uber/bitaksi in and out of Ortahisar, but I worked with a great driver who was informative and helpful (look up Recep at Ortahisar Taxi). I would recommend this location if you are looking for quiet, residential and non-touristy. It is a great hotel if you have a car and means of getting around, as Goreme is where most of the action is.
The whole staff was extremely helpful, professional, and sweet whether it was in regards to scheduling transfer rides, changing a last min flight, and even room service. The hotel itself was very clean and beautiful. This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed in my whole trip. I woukd definitely come back here.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Tekkaya Cave Hotel. The staff was incredible, helping us create a memorable trip to Central Turkey. They arranged for a private transport, a private all day tour (Omar was AMAZING) to all the highlights, a hot air balloon ride etc. The hotel itself is super spacious.
