This is the 4th time we've stayed in this hotel. It is our favorite Marquette base-of-operations. The location is wonderful for walks, including a long walk into town along the lake, and close enough to everything to be convenient. The rooms are QUIET, which is amazing considering how close they are to the highway. The desk staff are always the nicest people we meet in MI.

The staff were very friendly. The room was overall clean, but could have been cleaner. The beds were ok. They were not the most comfortable beds, but did the trick. Breakfast was decent. Great stay & great customer service! First, Ian, at the frint desk was amazing! So friendly & welcoming, super helpful and then Diane (or Diana) also went above & beyond to provide ex excellent customoer service. Hadnt planned an overnight stay 2 weeks later on return trip but ended up needing to. Immediately booked here. This will be my go to place traveling between Michigan & Minnesota from now on, as long as there's availability. Fairly basic rooms, but very clean & comfortable & customer service means a whole lot to me!

Didnt get the balcony room like we requested, was told ot was partial lake view but it was first floor and there were vehicles infront of our window so no lake just an electrical truck. One bed was dirty, the floor leaked around the toilet when you flush, the hot water took over 15 min to heat up then was either lava or ice water, the floor was squishier than the beds, the most disgusting breakfast, it didnt even have frosted flakes it was corn flakes! Literally the worst hotel in Marquette, a complete waste of our anniversary gift.
