Very easy checkin checkout. The personal is very nice and friendly. I asked them about the attractions and area. They recommended a boat tour in the lake and he showed me a nice route for walking.
The room was a junior suite with a kitchen, it was clean and comfortable with a small patio. The location is excellent for dining, coffee and walking. I would stay at the hotel again if I travel to the area again.
This hotel was the most serene and tranquil experience ever had. It felt like we had the hotel all to ourselves as there are only 17 rooms, and our bungalow was over the water with direct access to the lagoon from our back door. This was a dream, we will definitely plan to be back!
Serene, beautiful property with a great lagoon view. Super easy parking and secure entrance. We stayed in two room types and thought both were excellent (lagoon view suite, and partial lagoon view room). The overall vibe was nice with chill electronic music playing and waiters roaming to make sure you had all you needed, the food an drinks were excellent (ate multiple meals during our stay). Only critique would be that the lounge chairs facing the lagoon are limited in number, and other guests...

If you are in Bacalar this is a must stay. Best beach on the lake is located here where it's one of the few spots with a sandy walk in beach, impressive water color, and cool pier. It is a small property with only 4 cabins so very peaceful and relaxing. Cabins were very modern with great AC. It is a short drive to the center of town, definitely recommend a car if you are staying. Staff was very helpful with coordinating restaurant deliveries if you don't feel like leaving. The place is absolutely amazing, it is truly like staying in a tree house.. the staff is super friendly, you have kayaks available and the excursions on the lagoon and great. If you can, do get the rooms with the lagoon view, the sunrise from between the foliage gets reflected on the water and it’s truly magical, i’m definitely coming back
