Great “Oslo” hotel. Train into downtown runs every 10 minutes. Airport train picks up and drops off in Lillestrøm. It’s a five minute walk from the station. Almost as convenient as staying right in the center of Oslo.
The Well was perfect. Beautiful setting, hotel, & spa. Room was immaculate & nicely furnished. The spa will wow you for sure. Olga in the spa was awesome!! We did an aufguss & meditation session with her & loved them both. The breakfast was outstanding. Every staff person was gracious & helpful. If you’re in Oslo it’s so worth it to visit The Well!
Front desk person Magnus (the Magnificent) was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. From finding a screwdriver to use to recommending ways to book activities, he was the brightest spot among many bright spots. The hotel was incredibly well appointed and grand in appearance. The hotel is located very close to the national theater and very easy to get to by train from the airport. I booked a double room because it was the same price as a single and I am so glad I did. We loved our stay here for our Oslo vacation. The location is ideal. It’s 4 blocks from the train station and 2 from the water and opera house. That made the sauna and ice bathing easy. Rooms are basic but clean and sufficient. Nothing to change. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great staff. Breakfast was excellent. We were on the “old” side (no air conditioning) but weather in Oslo was very cool and we were fine just leaving the windows open thru the night. Outside temperatures were 52-56 Fahrenheit overnight and at 69-71 during the day. Centrally located property. Would stay there again. Prices in Norway are high for everything so do not be surprised by the sticker shock!
