We stayed here for a week in June/July 2026. There was laundry on the third floor. You will need a special key and tokens from the front desk. The Breakfast and dinner were good. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Blackout curtains were great for the summer sun. The hotel is connected to the SNO ski hill and mall which is still being developed. A lot of it was closed. Not much going on here for food other than the hotel breakfast and dinner. For lunch we walked to the grocery store and pizza place and Kebab place, but was only able to stomach eating there once. The hotel has a little snack stand that sells chicken wraps also located at the grocery store for lunch.

One of the best, cleanest and well presented hotels I have stayed at. Rooms are modern, well designed and comfortable. Gym is good to get a sweat on, and they provide towels etc, within the gym area. Service from the staff was amazing. Very inviting from the moment you walk in. Buffet Breakfast in the morning was great. Cannot fault it by any means. I would definitely stay at this place again. Thanks to all staff and management.

Skiing and the proximity to Oslo were what first drew me here. I hadn’t known about the ice climbing wall, but now I hope to return and take advantage of that feature. The service at Thon Hotel was truly outstanding, the staff were hardworking, quick, friendly, and always helpful, effortlessly juggling guests from all over the world. Ida at the reception desk and Favour from the serving team especially stood out for being attentive, engaging, and incredibly supportive.

Hotel provided a bed. No service, no phone in the room, which is a health hazard, to say the least. No help with luggage. Electric outlet fo 110 W in the bathroom didn’t work. Other outlets didn’t accommodate charging for 110 telephone. Great breakfast. Pleasant, but untrained, help.

Everything with the hotel was really nice. But the location so close to the highway, gives alot of traffic noise in the rooms facing the highway. It woke me up many times during the night and the constant buzz from highway was disturbing.
