It feels like a creative, living space that just happens to have incredible spacious rooms. The design is bold, playful, and refreshingly different, yet still deeply comfortable. Every detail feels intentional, like someone truly cared about how you would experience the space, not just how it would look. And the vibe? Warm, effortless, and genuinely inviting. The kind of place where you linger a little longer than planned. The team brings it all together. They were authentic, welcoming, and present in a way that feels personal without ever trying too hard. If you’re tired of predictable hotels and want something that feels alive, memorable, and completely unique, this is it. They even have free evening entertainment! One of the most unforgettable hotel experiences I’ve had since I started traveling internationally in 1980!

I stayed in Hobo Helsinki last year and loved it so much I decided to look for their other locations, which is what brought me to Oslo. As a solo traveller I love how safe their hotels are; the locations are perfect for getting around on foot and the staff are attentive without smothering. The breakfast selection was great and there were a handful of events happening at the hotel during my time there including a Saturday market. The WiFi is quick and stable, and the TV casting worked pretty well for me every time (using Crunchyroll) not many channels for regular TV but I was here during the World Cup so watched that most nights. There is a cafe downstairs, a library upstairs, a Photo Booth by the lifts, a pizza place next door that’s connected to the hotel and a handful of places to eat nearby. There are two food halls that are both about 8 mins away from the hotel so if you’re not sure what you want to eat, these are good places to start.
