The cottages were not very well kept. Lot of wear and tear - broken cloth hangers, broken kettle, leaking wash basin etc.
silver lining - the ala carte meals were tasty though not much selection in the menu. Buffet was bad!
Quite inside from the main area. So no choice except to manage within the property only. However, transport desk efficient. Cabs reasonable. Didn’t take pics. "

"Surrounded but nature and very restful. Nothing around the resort, however they offer in-house activities for both children and adults. Food selection was good and they happily accommodated some alternations of menus. "

"Hycinth hotel is a lovely, centrally located hotel in Trivandrum. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet has a great variety of food! Conveniently located on Manorama Road, close to train station and cbd. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Will definitely stay here again! "

"It was a one night stay before a flight. The check in was quick (but 2 forms to fill in!); the room spacious and comfortable with efficient cooling. The lift played Brahms’ lullaby.
