The location was perfect -away from the congestion and noise of town with an amazing view. It is also right off bike path and the bike rental on property was key. The staff was so amazing!
Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, especially Anton in Reception. The grounds were in pristine condition. The staff in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner did whatever they could to please us: Pasquale at dinner and the young woman who served at breakfast were especially memorable. We were surprised and delighted with our stay at the Palace. The one thing they could not control was the weather. It was rainy three of the four days we were there but the sunset at dinner our first night...
Wonderful location on the shore of the lake. Short walk to old town and neighborhood bars and restaurants. We rented the ebikes 3 times for a trip around the lake.
I chose the Hôtel Les Grillons based on nothing more than a quick web search and ratings. Always risky but it seemed like a good bet.
I couldn't have been happier. The room was very nice, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and the food?!!! Wow, reason enough to stay there.
I can't wait to go back again and soon.
The first compliment is with the great customer service at the check in desk, the girl was very polite ams knowledgeable, second the location in front of the lake was fantastic, also walking distance to the old town, very clean, confortable and the best shower ever.
Our extended family rented the large villa home on the property. It was so beautiful and much larger than we even expected. The staff was lovely, and accommodating, especially Zoe. As for the rest of the property, it was simply beautiful. I’d love to try the hotel restaurant and spa on property on our next trip. We would love to stay there again and recommend the house villa for large families. Absolutely made our stay in Annecy a wonderful experience.
We had a wonderful time there staying four night. The staff is very friendly, hotel has amazing charm, the combination of modern and old time spirit. A special thank you to the staff, because my husband left his valet in the lobby full of cash, but he discovered it next morning. The valet was returned to us - we were very happy to find it safe. The lake is warm, even in September, clean and views are beautiful. You need to have a car to drive to the city - 15 min and many beautiful places around...
Very nice property with a super friendly staff. Area is within walking distance to main train station and the Old Town. Area is very safe and the City is clean… Very nice place and a very nice time there
Exactly what we wanted in a small provincial authentic setting, excellent location for lake access, shopping, eating out & public transportation. Priced right. Our only complaint was there was no English speaking TV channels
