The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations.

This is a small traditional Swiss Alpine Hotel that has been owned and run by Sami and Melanie Perren. They are always around to help make your stay enjoyable. We had a reservation with Hotel Sarazena. When we arrived they told us our room had a plumbing leak and that they could not accommodate us for the night, and immediately said they rebooked us with a room at the next door hotel. It was the Schloss and it was an upgrade to a 4 star hotel. We were astonished that they would take care of us in such a manner. We will return to Hotel Sarazena again to thank them for such outstanding customer service.
Resort La Ginabelle blew me away in a variety of ways! The staff was incredibly present, attentive, and kind. Our surprise upgrade on arrival to a suite with a view of the Matterhorn was spectacular. The breakfast buffet rivals that of a number of globally renowned five star hotels. And, of course, the spa (after a day of hiking) is the cherry on top. The hotel locates in the main stree, only a few minutes walking from the train station. It was newly renovated with a very Zermatt style. The associated restaurant provides great food in very reasonable prices. The price of hotel is also respectable especially in this area.

Breakfast was very good; All the 'hotels.com' hotels we have stayed in have provided a good buffet breakfast, clean rooms and good beds. Great, small property just around the corner from restaurants, bars, and activities in Zurich. Rooms are small, but very (modern) efficient, clean, and comfortable--at a very fair price. Nice breakfast--nothing fancy, but perfect for a good start to the day. Plenty of fresh fruit, cheeses, breads, etc., etc. Thomas, the manager, was very helpful and friendly. I will stay at this hotel again!
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was probably the best I've ever had at a hotel. It was convenient to the train station and the central area. The lack of air conditioning was less than ideal, but that wasn't a significant problem. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.
