The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations.
The Stay was amazing. The location and view from the resort was spectacular. The amenities were good for kids. The check-in instructions were smooth and detailed as we arrive late at night.

I called for a late check in: usually at small places they will leave the keys out. The person stayed at the front desk until 10pm and was cheery and nice when we came. We booked online as non-refundable, but they did not charge the card until the day later since they said it was so late, and wanted to make sure all was well with our stay before we pay the...

Comfort and perks greatly exceeding expectations for a budget hotel. This hotel's "budget rooms", where we stayed at the height of summer, offer a (ski) lodge experience but also provide access to high end amenities (pool, sauna, workout, jacuzzi etc.). This hotel has SO much charm! I cannot recommend it enough. It quickly became one of my new favorite hotels, and I honestly can’t wait to go back.
The location is absolutely perfect, you truly can’t beat it. One of my favorite touches was their small electric transport service that can pick you up and drop you off at the train station, so you don’t have to drag your luggage through town. Such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

Very nice hotel, close by the train shuttle station. Has two elevators, a beautiful lobby and excellent dining area. The bed in the Butterfly was softer and more comfortable than all the rest. We would stay here in the future.
A family run hotel with terrific views of the Matterhorn. Electric shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the train station on arrival/departure. A free local bus allowed access to downtown but service ended at about 7:30PM and the walk back would be pretty uphill and take half an hour.
