Learn more about Pacific Grove
Hugging the rugged edge of Monterey Bay, this Victorian-dotted town earns its nickname 'Butterfly Town, U.S.A.' when thousands of monarchs arrive for winter at the Monarch Grove Sanctuary. Spot playful sea otters and harbor seals from the coastal recreation trail that winds along dramatic shorelines. The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History offers fascinating local ecology exhibits before heading to Asilomar State Beach for tide pooling adventures. Point Pinos Lighthouse stands as the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast. After exploring the quaint downtown's shops, walk to neighboring Monterey to visit the world-class aquarium. For sunset views that explain why artists have flocked here for generations, find a bench along Lovers Point Park.

"We had a great breakfast and dinner in tbd hotel restaurant. The hotel is modern and well appointed. I’d stay there again. The location is near beaches, shopping and Hwy 1. Ninety minutes from SJC airport."
Centrella Hotel, A Kirkwood Collection Hotel
"Such a cute cabin that offered privacy and comfort. It was a quick walk to lovers point and many awesome restaurants! We would stay again."
Green Gables Inn, A Four Sisters Inn
"Perfect location right on Monterey Bay between Lovers Point and Cannery Row. GREAT way to start each day by our favorite breakfast chef Carmen - truly extraordinary with everything made from scratch. Wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon at 4:00 is a great way to meet some of the other guests. The house was built in 1888 and there was an extensive remodel 3 years ago to spruce things up a bit without losing any of its Victorian charm. We will be back - thank you!! Jack & Amy - Ft. Lauderdale, FL"
Monarch Resort
"Only complaint would be that the hotel is so quite at night that any little noise travels far. Had a little trouble sleeping had to play white noise from my phone to sleep."
Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove Monterey by IHG
