"We loved our stay. The lobby and downstairs are beautiful! The complimentary breakfast was delicious! We also appreciated the thoughtful tea time and the tea/coffee room. The staff was very very kind and helpful.
We did enjoy one dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing!!"
"Awesomely impressive ! Very clean, reasonable places to eat, a great little dinner next door, great food, decent prices.
The hotel was friendly, clean and comfortable. Considering the price it exceeded expectations. "
"This is always our favorite place to stay! I constantly recommend it to others. Staff is always friendly, the hotel is clean with an amazing pool and fun arcade for the kids, and breakfast is delicious! Not to mention how affordable it is. There’s also a Walmart 2 minutes away for any emergencies or forgotten items. I seriously can’t recommend this enough. "
"We came into Galena for a get-away from the city and wanted to stay somewhere close to the main thoroughfare. Hotel Galena did not disappoint. The building and the grounds are charming, Denise and Nate were so so nice and helpful.
We stayed in #7 (one of the suites) and the jetted bathtub was divine; soothing and against the brick of the 1856 building and stained glass window…it was the best of the past and present.
Overall, worth the price and such a charming way to relax in a charming town. "
"I would definitely recommend this place. The staff was friendly and the the room was clean. The pool was open into the evening. Pool floats were also available to use. I will definitely stay again when traveling to Galena."
"Warmly greeted at check in. Were told of some activities round the area we might like. The grounds were very nicely kept up and the views were beautiful. My daughter and I enjoyed the pool area as well"
