This hotel has the most comfortable, fluffy pillows I've ever slept on. There's no A/C, which is OK as it usually cools down at night, but it was warm in the room during the day with temps reaching up into the mid-80s while we were there.
The little garden out back is an oasis.
This is close to the tram and they give you a Basel Card that makes all the public transportation free during your stay. Although the Old Town is just a short walk over the bridge, you can get anywhere you need to go...
The room was a nice size and so was the bathroom
It did have an elevator but you had to go up a flight of stairs to your room. We just went up one floor to make it easier to come down with heavy luggage
This hotel is very clean comfy and close to the airport! The best thing I enjoyed most is the yummy breakfast! It’s worrh the money!!!! I will cone back and book it again! Thank you also to the wonderful staff! They are very nice accomodating friendly and speak good english too!
We had a suite on the top floor, large wrap around balcony, fabulous bathroom with bathtub, separate shower, 2 vessel sinks, toilet room, and a TV to watch while bathing. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and spent as much time as needed answering our questions and providing us with a converter.
It is a boutique hotel as it claims. But has all the comfort and convenience that a big 5 star hotel can offer. Very clean. Location is perfect. Restaurant, grocery shopping, tourist attraction area, 3 stops away from train station and 5 minutes walk to tram station.

Great convenient stay right near the airport. The bus to the airport is immediately across the street and starts operating at 4:20am if you have an early flight, otherwise they have an airport shuttle starting around 6 as well. Great comfortable rooms, quiet, and an easy public transit to the city
Very close to the Old Town in Basel. Walking distance with many restaurants, great shopping. Had a car rental and it was easy to get around and find parking to visit the other cities not far from Basel.
I regret that I did not have a chance to try out the restaurant, and the in-room capsule coffeemaker was not a success, but the internet connection was good, the room was quiet, and the hotel itself was in an excellent location, especially for St. Jakob Stadium. Check-in and check out were very quick, and I paid extra for a balcony, which was well worth the money. It was a great place to relax and have some coffee, and the nice accordion glass doors and windows sealed out the noise at night....
Easy check-in. Clean room and spacious enough for two people. Lots of satellite channels to choose from. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of things within walking distance, grocery stores restaurants, a mall. Blackout curtains. Comfy beds that also incline so no need for extra pillows. And if you don’t feel like walking to a restaurant, there is a very convenient vending machine directly outside the front doors. Would definitely stay here again!
