Despite being built practically on top of the rail tracks in one of the busiest spots in the city, the hotel is amazingly quiet. Great sound insulation, windows and doors.
Nice hotel, location decent, brand new. I would say that no cleaning service could be a problem for some, but I enjoy the privacy. Check-in very easy with kiosks and code is emailed to you.
The gym was amazing- had all the equipment I could ever want. The kids play area and movie room was a nice bonus. The room was very clean and the decor was modern.
The staff was exceedingly helpful. The man at the counter gave very good advice regarding entertainment options and geography of the city. The room was very very clean and spacious The restaurant was hotel quality food.
The stay at Hotel Haaga was very good. Sauna, Gym and swimming pool with daily full breakfast add to the stay very enjoyable. The automatic full body massager helped with the massage services we needed. We observed people bringing their teenage daughter to Men's sauna which didn't look appropriate. We were a family of 4 and we stayed in Hotel Haaga from May 28th through June 2nd and then from June 4th through 9th. Overall experience was Excellent.
The great things about this hotel are excellent location, interesting history, and the included breakfast and dinner, which made it so easy to come back after a day of sight-seeing and settle in for a nice meal. They even prepared something for the first day we arrived, when it was too late to make dinner, and we were able to eat in our room. Our room was lovely, large, and comfortable. This is an excellent hotel. I was traveling as a tourist, and it is close to most attractions in the city.
The hotel staff (front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping) were always friendly and helpful. The front desk staff spent an exceptional amount of time helping me find and book various "tourist" excursions.
