The hosts were very friendly and thoughtful! The breakfast was excellent. Nice clean room and very comfortable beds! Exceeding my expectations!!! The area is very quiet and the yard is very pretty!
The perfect B&B! The house is beautifully located and impeccably restored and decorated. Bruno and Laurent are kind and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was excellent. And, the price is more than reasonable for the quality. All in all, I would recommend this beautiful little guest house to everyone!!
The staff at this hotel went out of their way to assist me, especially helping me (an English-speaking American) navigate the local area and get transportation to my next destination.
The hotel looks like it’s out of a movie, so stunningly beautiful and peaceful! I loved relaxing in the garden before walking up to dinner at the restaurant with incredible food and such a lovely view of the grounds. The owners went above and beyond to help me when I realized I had the wrong electrical adapter, and the staff served me with no problems even though I only arrived to breakfast with five minutes to spare in the time frame. It’s a short walk to Monet’s house and the rest of Giverny,...
The chateau is a beautiful, charming and quiet place to stay. Keep in mind you are living back in time so it’s a little different but it’s a wonderful experience to stay there. The continental breakfast is what we expected with delicious cheese, croissants, assortments of breads and boiled egg for options. The jams were fantastic and oh so very delicious!!! Also coffee and two juice choices were nice to have in the morning. The host is very kind and helpful. The grounds are stunning and we are...
This is a gem of a hotel. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful. The room was exceedingly comfortable (although, of course, somewhat small by American standards but large by European), charming, with an excellent en suite bathroom. The hotel restaurant was superb and, although expensive, well worth it -- both the food and the attentive service. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to any friend.
The property has a magnificent setting on Seine river halfway between Giverny and Rouen. Tremendous riverview garden and balconies. Restaurant has very good food including breakfast & dinner! Comfortable bed and adequate bathrooms with outstanding walk in shower. The venue exudes nothing but charm!
This hotel is by itself out in the country, but truly only about a 10 minute drive to the nearest city center. One thing to be aware of is the cost of the pool is €45 for a half a day or you can go after 6:30 at night for two hours for €10. In other words, you must pay extra if you want to use the pool. The restaurant on site is fabulous. We had the chef special menu and it was wonderful however, that chef special is for seven days. We did not do the breakfast. If you visited Monet‘s garden,...
What a place! We didn't know the hotel we'd booked was actually listed as a stop on the city historic walking tour. Courtyard has a frieze of Henry VIII's visit, 16th century. Very upmarket, modernized inside the hotel, with impressive original exterior intact. Cocktails are expensive but worth the memories in the outdoor courtyard on a hot August night. Valet indispensable -- rescued us at back of hotel when we arrived, not knowing where to leave the car. Note there are 2 valet parking...
