This was a perfect stop for our first evening in France! Charming look huge rooms nice staff. We did not partake in the breakfast due to jet lag. However, we did eat at their restaurant and it was fabulous! Pierre and his staff served us some of the best white asparagus I’ve tasted in my life you think a hotel restaurant would have a limited menu, but not here! They have menu options and various selections all were delicious. Let’s talk wine! Multiple options there as well. Once the weather breaks in a few weeks dining alfresco will make things even more wonderful we would certainly return.

Terrible expensive stay.

We have stayed in many chateau’s over the years in France but this was the worst. The room was dreadful, no room in the bathroom carpet disgusting light outside the window all night so unable to sleep. No lounge area or chairs to sit and drink with friends. No atmosphere in restaurant and food very expensive and it was clear we weren’t wanted!! The staff on reception very cheerful and helpful. Overall a terrible expensive experience

Beautiful hotel but check your bill v carefully!!

Beautiful hotel- bit outdated in some respects but that added to the overall charm. Only downside was restaurant charging a la carte prices rather than the set menu. At reception paying the next morning, someone else had exactly the same problem. Delayed our checkout as we had to run through every expense and correct the bill. Make sure you check the bill on checkout in detail… a la carte pricing seems to be a try on theme sadly!! We’d also been charged for breakfast and hadn’t had breakfast!

Au vu du prix payé pour ce qui était présenté comme une suite c est tout simplement scandaleux. La chambre avait deux fenêtres condamnées en pleine canicule. Le bois des fenêtres en décomposition... Il s agissait en fait de deux chambres regroupées avec un espèce de bloc réunissant les deux anciennes sales de bain qui prend tout l espace. Niveau décoration et aménagement un hôtel Formule 1 au bord de l autoroute est bien plus luxueux... Il fallait rajouter 49 euros pour un petit déjeuner tout a fait banale. Quand nous sommes arrivés le matin, j ai dû débarrasser une table pour pouvoir s installer. La seule chose a peu près convenable était le restaurant, qui est indépendant de l hôtel du moins si vous appréciez qu on vous apporte votre dessert sans avoir débarrassé votre plat terminé. 350 euros au total pour une nuit pour un confort d hotel à peine deux étoiles. Une honte pour cet hôtel prétendant être un trois étoiles. A fuir !

Castelo sem glamour!

Ruim, muito ruim! O hotel não tem elevador, nosso quarto era no 2o andar, tivemos que subir a mala pesada 2 andares, não tem uma pessoa que suba. Não passam essa informação nos detalhes da reserva. O hotel é velho, está mal cuidado, a mangueira da ducha quebrou na primeira noite, não tinha telefone no quarto para falar com a Recepção e a mesma estava fechada. Reclamamos no dia seguinte no momento do café. Saímos, voltamos a noite, o quarto desarrumado, as toalhas encharcadas que a ducha molhou estavam todas la e a ducha continuou quebrada. No dia seguinte fizemos o checkout, disseram que estavam esperando nós sairmos para concertar. Péssima experiência. O restaurante do hotel é bom, tem atendimento Cortez e a comida estava boa.
