This was a perfect stop for our first evening in France! Charming look huge rooms nice staff. We did not partake in the breakfast due to jet lag. The property has a magnificent setting on Seine river halfway between Giverny and Rouen. Tremendous riverview garden and balconies. Restaurant has very good food including breakfast & dinner! Comfortable bed and adequate bathrooms with outstanding walk in shower. The venue exudes nothing but charm!
I really enjoyed our two-night stay. The hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned regularly. There is a large shopping mall nearby where we could purchase everything we needed. Bus stops are within walking distance, and the nearest train station is about a 40-minute walk. The hotel also has a lovely backyard, which we used to relax in the morning and evening.

This hotel is by itself out in the country, but truly only about a 10 minute drive to the nearest city center. One thing to be aware of is the cost of the pool is €45 for a half a day or you can go after 6:30 at night for two hours for €10. In other words, you must pay extra if you want to use the pool. This is a gem of a hotel. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful. The room was exceedingly comfortable (although, of course, somewhat small by American standards but large by European), charming, with an excellent en suite bathroom. The hotel restaurant was superb and, although expensive, well worth it -- both the food and the attentive service. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to any friend.
The hotel is simple and quiet. I appreciated the staff flexibility and kindness when I asked for assistance. I stayed in one of their renovated room ( which I recommend as the hotel is a little bit dated). The room had all the basics you need: modern TV, shampoo and soap in the shower, towels, storage space etc.). Breakfast (Buffet style) was very good with many choices. The location of the hotel is very central and convenient. I recommend this hotel for business or a layover (not a vacation).
The hotel was a charming hotel on the Seine River in the center of the cute town of Le Roche-Guyon. The restaurant was great and it had a very nice patio.
