Perfect location next to the cathedral with beautiful rooms, king sized beds, impeccable neatness and cleanliness, and a friendly helpful staff. If you drive, you will need to contact the hotel and get a code to enter the zone where they have an underground garage.

Staff were amazing and Hotel was clean with great facilities. Unfortunately the fridge in our room wasn’t working and we got a room for two for a family of 4 which was soon rectified by the amazing receptionist. All in all a great hotel for the money

We had a really good overnight stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and sorted a couple of small issues in the room quickly and apologised immediately. The breakfast was amazing! It’s a wonderful central area next to the cathedral. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you to the staff who were so lovely. Just use your sat nav carefully for the car park and take care as it’s very narrow inside but wonderful to be able to park so closely and securely right next to the hotel. The code to get into the street and then the car park was really efficient.

I have stayed at this location twice, because I was so impressed I came back. The location is impeccable and it is a joy to be right near the cathedral. Staff are lovely and very helpful, and they also have a wonderful aselection of wines in the bar, should you wish to look at your excellent view and relax. I highly recommend the stay.

Very good spot for visiting Rouen's tourist sites. Study the hotel's email well before attempting to find the hotel and parking. Arrive early if you wish to get a parking space. An excellent place to stay for central Rouen.

Great location for exploring Rouen If you’re looking for a hotel in a great location, I would definitely recommend the Mercure Rouen. Everything is within easy walking distance, which made exploring the city really convenient. We stayed in a family room with a king-size bed and bunk beds for the kids, which worked perfectly for us. The room faced the street, but it was surprisingly quiet, and the air conditioning was excellent — especially appreciated during the hot weather! The amenities are fairly minimal, but you have everything you need for a short stay. The gym is very basic and could definitely be better equipped. Overall, a very comfortable and practical base for a couple of days in Rouen, and we would happily stay again.
