Used as a base to explore Roenne. Arrived early so knew the room would not be ready. The staff were so helpful. We had somewhere to get changed and leave our luggage so we could explore the town. The room was excellent, well equipped and very clean. There was secure underground parking, even for my motorcycle. Breakfast was very nice with a great selection of food and drink. Probably this was the best hotel on our 7 day trip. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel close to the city center. The rooms facing the main street can be very noisy - check if the windows close properly, if they don't, ask to be moved to a different room. Very helpful staff. The hotel even has a small gym.

Good basic hotel, but incredibly noisy. Our room was facing onto the main road (the entrance is round the side and the photos on the website don't really show you the location) and because the sound-proofing (ie double-glazing) isn't that great then it made for a long night. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. Parking was ok value. Easy access for the city (which we love).

Nice hotel. 15 min walk away from old town. Grotty location. Room with terrace / view - not much to look at. Terrace beds covered in bird do-do and not clean. Bedroom nice with comfy bed. Coffee machine and small lights didn’t work. Bathroom dark and needs refitting. Shower in bath. Nice breakfast.

Lovely welcome. Parking safe but a bit tight for our Peugeot 3008, try to reverse into bay, easier to get out. Room clean and nice hot shower, kettle in there but a bit sparce with the selection of tea and coffee. Breakfast was a fair selection, they also had a dinner menu which was not expensive. Lastly, 5 to 10 minutes from old town and across the road a promenade along the river with quite a few places to eat.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were excellent- all very friendly and helpful. We can not comment on the breakfast as we decided to walk into the old town instead which was only an easy 10 minute walk away - and very lovely when you get there. It was great to have onsite parking but it was a bit of a faff as it is fairly tight spaces and you need to use codes to get in and out - but still good to have . The only reason we didn’t mark it excellent was because the on site facilities such as the bar were a bit basic. Overall great value for money.

I'll start with the positives, the staff were wonderful and the location is excellent for direct access to the city centre. Underground parking, but very tight to access. The negatives; I would not class this as a 4 star hotel. Our room was so small that I couldn't sit at the desk unless I was facing sideways. My husband had to climb over the bed to get past me. He also kept stubbing his toe on the chair going to the loo as there was no room between the bed and the desk. The air conditioning just blew warm air around the room, so we had 2 sleepless nights due to the heat. The hotel is on an extremely busy main road, which makes it impossible to leave a window open. The shower was over the bath and there was no grip mat in the bath for protection. My husband and I both slipped when taking a shower. The price we paid for the room was extremely reasonable, but we thought we were getting a bargain for a 4 star hotel. What we got was a fair price for a 3 star hotel. If something is advertised as 4 star with air conditioning that's what you expect to get, so we were very disappointed sadly.

PROS: The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, offered lots of recommendations for restaurants and tours. The service was great, and the location of the hotel was pretty close to the city centre - everything was within walking distance. CONS: Air conditioning control was locked on the first night of our stay, uncomfortably hot in the hotel room. Must’ve been an accident, however we had to speak to the hotel staff to get them to reset it the next day. The bathtub was weathered and had quite a few stains. There was a small stain on the couch in the room, and the bedsheet had a small hole in it. Overall the room had signs of wear and tear which was a little disappointing. Parking garage was incredibly tight to maneuver, just something to keep in mind.
