The food was average or below compared to most other all inclusive resorts i have stayed at but there were many options to choose from and you could always find at least a few things that were decent at the buffet. "This was a brief one night stay. The grounds are natural/immaculately beautiful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by howler monkeys in the trees directly above, macaws and parrots. This place is a rustic nature lovers dream. The rooms are VERY basic and the bed was not comfortable (dip in the middle that makes it difficult for two people to share), mold in the shower and a ill-fitting door that lets in small bugs are what dropped this rating down. "The place is a rental property rather than a hotel. The host Carla was very friendly and responsive. The view was amazing. However, the property could use some serious work. There were holes on the wall, stains on the couch, splashes on the kitchen window shades, mold or stains on bathroom ceiling. The bathroom sink doesn’t work. Walls are paper thin that you can hear everything from the next door neighbor. The bedroom AC doesn’t work properly, that it doesn’t cool and was very noisy. The...
