This hotel is beautiful. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was cozy and comfortable. The pool was relaxing. The food and drinks were great and I enjoyed the free breakfast. I loved how close I was to the black sand beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The place is beautiful, quiet, relaxing, great services , great breakfast, you feel inside the jungle, a lot natural sound come from trees , birds, monkeys and more , the area is close to many national parks and beaches and a lot of good restaurants and bars

We had a great stay, quiet and relaxing. Staying in touch with Romina via WhatsApp was a bonus. We loved sitting on the front porch having our coffee.

A newly built apartment, small, well distributed, with spacious parking, located in a safe, quiet area, near the center of Puerto Viejo. The staff is very attentive and cooperative about to the needs of the guest

This was a beautiful, literally just opened (only 4 weeks at the time of our stay) hotel. With literally no available reviews, we took a chance on staying here vs the more established Le Cameleon hotel and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lauren who offered us very refreshing and delicious cocktails. Check-in was very quick and efficient and we were shown the amenities of the lush property which included a small spa, pool, and very nice "high end"...

Let me start by saying we had originally planned on staying only two nights, but then left our highly rated and fully paid for hotel to return to this gem. Why? It is new, immaculate, beautiful, with ice cold AC, large shower with plenty of hot water, a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, private patio with hammocks ( and hot coffee waiting each am), sloths, parrots, kinkajous, a private path to the beach, beautiful gardens and pool, delicious big breakfast, really wonderful staff, attention...

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff is great and since it’s a small hotel, you feel like family. The grounds and room are updated very nicely. The beach is beautiful and quiet, only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant and bar is excellent. I didn’t want to eat anywhere else because the food was so good.

The room and facilities were very nice, breakfast was good. But the main reason for our very favorable review is how the entire staff and the owners were so helpful. They spent lots of time talking to us and had useful recommendations on what to do, where to go, what to eat, and in general gave a wonderful introduction to the area. Above and beyond what we have experienced at similar properties.

This was such a great choice for our stay in Puerto Viejo. The staff was very nice and accommodating, clean rooms, comfortable beds and close to town & ocean. I would stay here again.

Marise was a great host. She gave us a bag of great Costa Rican coffee upon arrival and cooked us a delicious breakfast our second night.The location was perfect. Less than 100 feet from the beach once you are out the front door. A lovely, quiet location and only a 10 minute walk to the center of town.
