Pool , staff every thing was great. I wish I had realized There was a small store almost across the street. I also wish they had beach chairs. Take a small soft collapsible ice chest for the beach. I felt very safe there and traveling around the area. Rent a rav 4 or similar. Go beach hopping , explore off the beaten path a little. Not difficult to do. Plug your phone in to the car. You will be fine.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The pool was well-maintained and a nice spot to unwind. A special shoutout to Maria at the front desk—she was incredibly helpful and sweet, and made check-in a breeze. Great customer service like that really makes a difference. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff here were all amazing, thank you! Location is perfect. The only issue , strangely, was the lighting in the rooms. There where no desk lamps, no side lamps by the beds, only the overhead lighting that used daylight spectrum LED's so everything had the cold blue hue. This is a very easy fix! I want to thank the staff for finding us a couple of bedside lamps!

Room was great. Staff was friendly. Loved how quiet it was. Close walk to a great beach. The water is so warm. Pool was warm too! Breakfast was nice variety. The pool bar was never open unfortunately. There were lots of building's but all empty as well as construction. I couldnt tell if they were under staffed or they just dont accommodate as much when they are at low capacity. Nice place though.

Beautiful resort! Very friendly and helpful staff... Maria at the front desk, was especially polite and informative! With the gated property and multiple security officers on site, we felt 100% safe at all times. There was a sloth living in a tree on the beach right behind the property, and a kinkajou living in a tree by our balcony. We were able to see them on the daily... and the sounds of the various birds and howler monkeys were AMAZING!!! The pool area was beautiful, the dining area was very peaceful... and the food was wonderful. I can't say enough about this resort, and will definitely be returning!

Maria at the front desk is very helpful. She helped me arrange for my bird watching tour and she gives me tips on where I can go for my solo adventure. She is very kind and professional. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. I recommend this place highly.

Miss it already!

We just left this morning and were so sad to go. My partner and I eloped on Punta UVA beach and stayed at the beachfront bungalows in the master suite with the Jacuzzi. Staff were wonderful and friendly, the room was gorgeous, and the beach was proximate. They offer free parking which is a game changer given how busy this area gets. Our stay would’ve been perfect if our Jacuzzi in the room got a bit warmer, but we preferred the beach anyway. I’d go back again and again!

This property was amazing. We looked at many properties and so happy we stayed at this one. We didn’t even have to leave the property to see sloths, monkeys, and more. Jonar who worked the back parking lot and beach access path was the best. He was quick to find us as we passed by to show us a sloth laying in a tree in the parking lot. Everyone was great. We will be returning soon. This resort gives you the true definition of Costa Rica.

The Beachfront bungalow was very clean and pretty. Exactly as pictured. The space felt cozy and well cared for, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the beach area- it was crowded and not as clean as I expected. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I wish the beach experience had matched the quality of the bungalow itself.

Our first ever trip to Costa Rica and Punta Uva Bungalows was perfect for both a beach and jungle/wildlife vacation. You can literally do both together - float in the ocean while looking at the howler monkeys and toucans in the trees surrounding the beach. Maria at the front desk was lovely and helpful offering us the best suggestions for day trips while also steering us away from pointless rip-offs which seemed good on paper but, with her knowledge, she saved us from wasting money. Inclusive breakfast was delicious and all the staff really nice and friendly - especially Danny! Interesting to note that - when returning through TSA at LAX, our passport agent said he had never ever heard a single bad experience from any traveler returning from CR. We are glowing and happy

Absolutely beautiful property! What a dream. I had a junior suit it was very large and spacious. I was impressed with the room’s amenities. It’s was my birthday solo trip. The property is well maintained clean and staff is helpful. Mary at the front desk gave me so many recommendations and suggestions she was a gem and really made me fell welcomed. The facility has bike rentals on site the beach front access was very convenient and the main reasons why I booked it. The pool area was very nice the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day I just wished the pool side bar was open. Breakfast came with the room there was about 5 options and you could choice addition option for a fee. The property is a bit far from city center I had to uber 15 mins there and back each day for dinner. Overall I highly recommended staying here I plan on coming back with my family at the end of this year . Truly a beautiful property.
