"Great pools but not a dreamy beach due to seaweed which is not the fault of the hotel. It’s a sweet hotel that host families. This is not a Cancun party destination. It is helpful to know some Spanish if you stay here. Easy access to buses, Puerto Cancun ( giant shopping mall). "

It includes access to The royal Sands hotel which he's a much nicer hotel zone beach and other restaurant choices. I like peace and quiet trips this one is not as party zoned like the sister branch, day trips are easier on my crowd meter tank they provide shuttles there.
Easier access to the rest of Cancun you are on the edge, Puerto Juarez is a 8 min drive from the hotel

"The place has been renovated completely with new everything. I found a taco place next door that is great, and there is a convenience store by the entrance too. They have a restaurant/bar that is barely used so you will probably have the place to yourself. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and is large. I would stay there again next time I go to the hotel zone."

If you can't wait to get to the beach, you might enjoy a trip to El Niño Beach located 3.6 mi (5.8 km) from central Cancun. Enjoy the sunset by the shore at Las Perlas Beach, Playa Tortugas, and Langosta Beach.
If museums are on your list of things to see, you might want to browse the collections at Arrecife El Meco Underwater Museum in Puerto Juarez. If you want to see more of the museums in Cancun, Cancun Underwater Museum isn't far either.

I did not realize how close this was to the beach and for the price it’s great. The front desk people were extremely helpful and nice. I had lots of things delivered to me and they were always nice to put them in my room, always called when my transportation was at the hotel. The cleaning lady Magda was wonderful! She was super nice and always had are room squeaky clean. The only downside for me was the beds were not comfortable at all. But I would definitely recommend
I booked this hotel for my last day in Mexico because it is so close to the ferry from Isla Mujeres (a couple of minutes walking), OXXO convenient store (right at the ferry) and around 20 minutes to Cancun airport. It's old styled hotel but I like it. My room has pool/ocean/palm tree view which is lovely. The floor, bedsheets, bathroom were clean but has sewage smell from the underneath drainage system (you know the building built long time ago may have this problem, I just closed the bathroom...
Hotel is in a new upscale marina area with lovely view. Very quiet and secure with an entrance in lobby allowing you to walk straight to probably the nicest mall in Cancun with many nice restaurants.
Beautiful property, quiet, good service, decent food, well made drinks unlike many other resorts that use nasty tasting ingredients.
Also not the place for the college crowd, thankfully.

Everything about the property was wonderful. The staff, leadership, and employees COULD NOT have been nicer and more helpful. Food was the best I've had at an all-inclusive. The only thing about it that wasn't perfect was the bar drinks - the mixes tasted cheap and the drinks were not strong. That being said, the service MORE than made up for a very minor issue. If the drinks matched the rest - this place would be HEAVEN!
Habanero was closed, so that was a bit disappointing. But Jorge, who manages the fresh margarita stand, always greeted us with a smile and made the best kiwi margarita! Definitely would comeback for him:)
Staff is amazing had an amazing stay. My Butler Yuri made it everything so easy and checked in on us everyday. She was the best! Carlos from the Gourmet hall provided us with the best service every morning for breakfast. I will definitely be going back to this resort.
This was my second time around and as always, the resort is so beautiful & very modern. I enjoyed the one bedroom suite beds are very comfortable. Here is my review of this property. We loved our trip, and we loved the property overall. Just offering some unbiased feedback about what to expect.
1. The property is very well-kept. The pools are clean and beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony was pleasant for hanging out (when it wasn’t too sunny).
2. The food was … ok. The specialty restaurants were an upscale *experience* with not so great food (though the appetizer buffet at the Mexican Fiesta was really nice....

Our second stay here. The staff is super friendly. Casy and Mari are very nice and helpful. They take pride in their work. Look forward to returning. Only wish the bed was a bit more comfortable but other than that all was very nice.

Must knows: At the airport… just keep walking and find your transport outside. Do not stop to speak to the people at the counters. They are selling you tickets to timeshare presentations. At the hotel… Skip the ‘vacation club’ presentation if you don’t want to lose 6-8 hours and spend $50k. It is not 90 minutes and it’s not cheap.
