Hotels near The Rooftop Anchorage

"Super clean, very modern and bright. Very spacious and comfortable beds. We would stay again and would recommend to our friends."

"The rooms were great! Clean and spacious. Was pleasantly surprised by The Social Time, which featured chicken alfredo and bread sticks the day we were there."

"Nicest hotel in anchorage. Great bar with large tv and good food and drinks. Shops inside Also an Italian restaurant which we did not go to but looked nice"

"Staff was awesome, The distance to the lobby was a trek, but overall it is a very distinct and attractive place to stay for a short time. The rooms are clean, stocked and comfortable!"

"Good location. Clean. Quite. I recommend."

"Checked in one day early for our cruise, on our own. The second night was booked thru Celebrity. The front desk was able to accommodate us by not having to switch rooms. Excellent customer service overall and great location for walking and touring the city. Thank you."

"This is an older hotel. So I give them some credit for trying to keep it going. It has character. Despite any shortcomings, I'd rather stay in a place like this. In a central location, keeping downtown alive, rather than out in the strip malls or near the airport at some generic motel."

"Nice place. Decent breakfast. I just wish they’d enforce the no smoking, especially right outside the main lobby doors."

"Very accessible and great central location! Easy in and out, sure beets the big box hotels! Great Stay!!!"

"I’ve never met a more convivial staff. From those at the front desk to breakfast crew and chef to those taking care of the rooms! I will highly recommend this to all who want to visit Anchorage! I greatly appreciate their personal attention and consideration! Diane is quite unique! Thank you all!"

"Nice place. Everything was clean and staff were friendly. Decent restaurants within walking distance. Would stay there again. "

"Property has been completely remodeled on the inside. Staff was awesome and very attentive. Close enough to all the shopping and downtown restaurants with only a 7 minute walk to the conference center for the cruise bus shuttle. Great value compared to whet the big name hotels are charging"

"The place is way over priced (almost $700/night). It is more like a motel than a hotel. It is a little farther to walk into main part of town than other places but still easy to get to town and shop. The beds were comfortable."

"Older hotel but clean and staff was helpful and polite. Location was great and walking distance to whatever you need. Coffee/water available in the morning. I would stay there again"

"The Clarion is a convenient option for exploring Anchorage. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good enough."
