We are locals and we spent 1 night for my son’s bday.we love this hotel. Before it was being built I was working for securitas and I would secure the area so to be able to see its work and inside of it was very cool. Rooms are great, pool and jacuzzi was great, breakfast was awesome!! And for it to be in the middle of the theater and Walmart is a bonus!! Only downside is the kitchen crew was kind of rude. This is as good as you can get in Alaska. The hotel is new, the are rooms large and have a stove, refrigerator and microwave. The location is quiet but within walking distance of everything in the town. The General Manager Shaleena Bott greeted us and made us welcome. They even have clean washer machines and driers. It just does not get much better in a small town.

It is basically brand new, they just fully remodeled the whole place.

Amazing Inn with restaurant and pub inside. The best views and the best clam chowder of my life. Definitely recommended!

I really liked that all 6 of us were able to share our one room and the breakfast in the morning was also great.

If you are planning on staying in one of their "Larger Motel/Hotel Rooms" that are advertised to fit 5 people comfortably, do not plan on staying in the room for long periods of time. The room was very nice and tidy but extremely small. When you add the two bunk beds each with a Double bed on the bottom and a twin on top the room becomes almost claustrophobic. We were lucky to be traveling in the low season and were able to upgrade to the Oldtowne Studio Apartments. These accommodations...

Historic Hotel restored at Ft. Seeard

Upon arriving at the hotel in the middle of the night at Fairbanks, the hotel staff was wonderful. Our room keys were ready to go and absolutely no hassle. We were able to store our luggage for our excursion to the Arctic Circle until the next morning before departing on the train. The hotel was kind enough to provide a shuttle for approximately 8 of us taking the train that morning. Will definitely look into staying here again on our next adventure to Alaska and Fairbanks.

Dealing with the cruise people was sort of a pain. The wait staff in the lounge needed to brush up on alcohol names and cocktails. Your POS was not up to date as I could see bottles on the shelf but had to argue with the waitress that you in deed had it in stock. The rooms were run down and used. Facelift needed. A unique, fun place to stay. Hotel staff was very accomodating in helping us to have a room that met my disability needs. Shuttle met us at railroad and took care of getting our luggage to our room.

Great service at reception & on airport shuttle. Clean bathroom w/plenty of hot water in shower. Happy that could open window for fresh air. Would have liked an extra blanket for bed.

Very nice breakfast, shuttle service and beds were new. Quiet room. Clean room. Property dirty and run down.

Upon arrival was greeted by the nicest and most helpful staff. I had issues with the digital key not working but was given a key in no time. No issues in the room, the room was clean and warm absolute excellent place to stay. Shuttle to and from the airport was convenient as well.

The staff was very helpful and always had any information you need this hotel doesn't have an elevator but the stairs aren't steep. very quiet and comfortable
