Spruce Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the size of the room. Kitchen was super - full sized refrigerator, cups, plates, silverware - all helpful. We loved the gas fireplace in the room. We also loved the remote check-in/out - they sent us a code for the door lock - worked really slick, never had to carry a room key around. Good location for the Exit Glacier. A little out of town but we had a car so it was a non-factor. The buildings look brand new."
Bird Creek Motel
8/10 Good
"Our two night stay was good and we would stay agy. The road noise reduced at night and was not an issue for sleeping."
Ski Inn
8/10 Good
"No frills. Affordable & got the job done."
Exit Glacier Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Great stay. Thanks for the pie recommendation!"
Alyeska Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Alyeska Resort is a 5 star resort in a 10 star setting. The view from the back terrace is beautiful and there are multiple opportunities for hiking, biking or just gazing. The restaurants are also top notch."
Inn at Whittier
10/10 Excellent
"This place is exactly what you hope it would be. Quiet in the mornings except maybe the wind and nice crowd in the evenings. Great staff and clean quaint rooms. The restaurant and bar have great food and drinks. We will be back for sure."
Trail Lake Lodge
8/10 Good
"Room was on the smaller side compared to others we've stayed in while visiting Alaska. Check in was simple, quiet little town. Window sills and under the bed seemed pretty dusty, but the beds, bathroom, and sink were clean."
Safari Lodge Adventure Camp
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very spacious, clean, up to date. The area where it's located is very pretty. We loved the setting. The shower room was separate from the yurt itself and is a shared space, but it was clean and had most everything we needed. I have 2 recommendations for the shower room- a way to tell if its occupied or not- like an outside light that turns on when its locked and off when it's not, and a stool or something to sit on- since its a wet room, to be able to put shoes and socks on dry. The room could use a small table to sit and eat at- even a little table between the chairs, but we easily made do. A little confusion on the check-in process, my fault probably. Didn't know we had to go to the office downtown first, but thankfully someone responded to my text pretty quickly with help and an answer. The toilets are port-a-potties on site, but that is in the description. You can't drive right up to the yurts, but there are sturdy carts for managing your luggage available for use. We would stay here again."
Nauti Otter Inn and Yurt Village
