Property has been completely remodeled on the inside. Staff was awesome and very attentive. Close enough to all the shopping and downtown restaurants with only a 7 minute walk to the conference center for the cruise bus shuttle. Great value compared to whet the big name hotels are charging

A very nice hotel which was walkable to the tour pickups that we needed for our 3 different tours. And we were lucky enough to have a view of the mountains out our window!

This cute little boutique hotel just outside. The busy blocks of Anchorage was very well run and the staff were all very kind to us. I loved the little bar and breakfast area in the front and the Jim had everything I needed for a great workout even a sauna! I highly recommend this hotel for people passing through Anchorage, I was very impressed!

Stuff is very helpful, room was clean. We had a functional kitchen inside the room which turned out to be very helpful during the trip. We were able to fix simple breakfast ourselves with the supplies. There was not much house keeping during our stay, which is fine. You can ask stuff to get things you needed.

Our room was small but clean. There was garbage piled around the trash can by the elevator and waste basket full of trash out Side the room across from ours. The front desk staff seemed not to care. Bartender Alwin was truly the high point of our stay. The breakfast buffet for $15 per person was truly awful.

Room was clean and well stocked. Newly remodeled room and building. Conveniently located downtown. Secure neighborhood. Hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and prompt. Only areas needing improvement were hotter water temperature of water out of shower and better perimeter security. An exterior door was noted to be ajar at one point. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

It’s very bare bones; fine for a quick work trip. The walls are very thin; you can hear your neighbors opening and closing their doors and moving around. The blinds were broken in my room, and they didn’t attempt to service the room until the evening of day 3 into my stay, which I had to say no to because I was getting ready for dinner and rushing to leave at the time, and on the next day in the late afternoon I had to ask them to service it. Other than that it was fine really. A few nice staff members. It’s walkable to downtown but not in the mix of everything by any means.

8/10 Very good

Rooms and staff were good. The check-in, lounge, cafe space could use some improvements as it’s not very inviting. I would either suggest getting rid of the 8th St Cafe space or drastically upgrading. It didn’t appear to be used much and wasn’t a place as a tourist I felt comfortable enjoying an evening drink at.

There were a couple hiccups, such as the rooms.Air conditioner was not working. I was told they didn't have any more room but when I insisted I could not stay in the room , they did find a new room for me. But they did not change it in their system, so they were trying to kick me out. The next day When I had paid for 2 nights already. This was annoying since the only reason we booked the room was because we had a red eye flight and wanted to sleep in, but they were banging on my door at 11, asking me if I needed a late check out. I advise them no I had already paid for the second night. These were minor things that were incredibly annoying, but the hotel itself was clean and well kept up nice security In a good neighborhood. They were out of regular coffee and only have decaf. Another small thing that led me not giving them a five star.

Hotel staff were nice and gave great dining recommendation's. Room was clean and comfortable. Wasn’t a suite as hotel name suggests. Outside grounds had a lot of strewn garbage laying about unfortunately. Only other issue was unreliable taxi service-security kindly ordered for us but arrived very late after a second call-not a hotel problem but an issue for guests.
