for sunrise and sunset. There are lovely pools. The food was excellent and dining was gorgeous. We did some hiking in the area and this was the perfect spot to stay.
We rented a car and were prepared for the possibility of rough roads, but had no issues driving.

The balcony facing the mangrove was a great place to sit and listen to the ocean waves and watch for animals. We saw howler monkey, mangrove crab, squirrels, black vulture, hummingbird....etc at the tree house. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Thank you!"

"This place was amazing from the second we arrived. Staff person checking us in was polite, accommodating and made you feel like you were best friends. Because it’s a smaller hotel, we got to know all of the staff and they couldn’t have been nicer people! On site parking was easy. Location was quiet except for some road noise. "They seemed like a great family but no AC or hot water, shared bathroom and shower with 6 other rooms. Fruit fell from the tree hitting the metal roof which made it impossible to sleep much. It was not at all a good experience. It was a room with an old bed and a bench and book shelf with a fan but it stayed hot. The boat tour was nice."
