"Entire Inn was clean and well taken care of. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The porter was exceptional. He went beyond his duties as a Porter. The continental breakfast was “on point”. Plenty of treats for everyone. And staff kept it supplied until service was complete for the day. A big plus for my wife was the espresso bar in the front lobby. Good price with great flavor. We will definitely be returning to this facility."

"Aurora Borealis is the first motel we have stayed at in years. The experience was so much more that we expected. Rooms were clean. Access was simple and proximity to State Street in St. Ignace was perfect. Don’t be discouraged to stay here just because it’s not a branded chain. While the rooms are spartan they serve the simple purpose of providing a place to stay. Enjoy Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, the Sault Ste Marie and all the other great sites to visit."

"We needed a place to stay for the night and the Lighthouse View Motel was wonderful! Friendly, clean, affordable, and a great location just across the street from the Lighthouse park and great views of the Bridge. Went to the Island for the day and they let us park our cars there for free. Came back in the evening and had a nice walk in the area and a good sleep. Would certainly stay there again - thank you!"

"Went with my daughter's for our annual Fall trip. It's a decent place to stay for a few nights. Clean room, comfortable beds. The shower head was very wonky and the water would turn from warm to super hot to cold, but other than that, all good. Very convenient location! Close to ferry, restaurants, and Dark Sky Park! "

"Right next to the ferry parking lot! So convenient for getting to the island and back. Then we drove back down the road for dinner at The Hook Lakeside Grill. We had the pan seared walleye and it was superb and the view was amazing. Again, so close to our hotel!!!"
