Excellent choice. Our best night in Ireland. Beautifully maintained facility with a large quiet room which was really a suite with an excellent breakfast. This gets my highest recommendation.

This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.

This place was amazing - incredible breakfast, large sunny and elegant rooms and honestly the best water pressure shower I have had in a very long time! Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

A welcoming and warm staff. Excellent accommodations and most delicious food in the restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Killeen House when visiting the area again. Highly recommend.

Salmon Falls was lovely, we were a little sad to only be spending one night there (we drove a big loop through Ireland, so jumped between several hotels). They were very warm and inviting and friendly. Our room was comfortable and huge, could've fit multiples of some of the other rooms in it, particularly the bed was comfortable. The delicious breakfast is especially not to be missed.

EXCELLENT stay! We arrived extremely late after a long day sightseeing. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk (wish I got his name) who immediately checked us in. The following morning, we went in search of the Castles dog. We found him doing his job, right in front of the castles entrance! Grounds were lovely, Irish people have to be the absolute kindest people on earth! I highly recommend Ballyseede Castle!

After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Aoife and her husband Seamus are ably assisted by their son Dermot in keeping this excellent hotel at the top of the list for places to stay - and eat - in the area near Ballybunion & Tralee. The fact that this family-run hotel is a wedge to the clubhouse at Ballybunion Golf Club is another plus. If you have tried the best, why try the rest?

We had a one-night stay at the Tides and wish we had more time there. The entire establishment was immaculate. The crepes at breakfast were divine! Everyone was friendly and looked for ways to help us have a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay longer next time.

We just returned from Ireland and my opinion of this hotel is that the service and staff are as good as it gets. The bar is so nice and we made friends there every night which made it very fun. The rooms are smallish and nothing really special: mattress is great, pillows just okay. The location is perfect and you could walk to great restaurants, pubs & shopping without hearing the noise.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland as a must stay. The hotel itself was luxurious without being pretentious, the staff was so very helpful, it is centrally located to beach in Ballybunion, sightseeing in Killarney and the ring of Kerry, and a short drive to Adare and neighboring sights. Lovely small hotel with on site breakfast bistro, full service restaurant and 2 taverns. Very close to all the shopping, restaurants and attractions that Kenmare offers. Ideal location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older property that has been well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Parking is available on location. If it’s full, park in the adjacent gravel lot that seems to be unattached to the Lansdowne but available for anyone to use.

Lovely hotel! Extremely comfortable and quiet. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and the morning's breakfast was superb! The staff was super friendly and nice and the property was very clean and nicely maintained! Would stay here again, overall excellent place to stay!
