This was my second visit to the Park. My only regret is not coming back sooner.
This isn’t a modern hotel but one that has old world charm and a service staff that is second to none.
The other secret to this wonderful establishment is the cuisine. I have traveled the world and have eaten at quite a few Michelin Star restaurants; the Parks dinning experience is far superior to any.
A welcoming and warm staff. Excellent accommodations and most delicious food in the restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Killeen House when visiting the area again. Highly recommend.
After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Lovely cozy rooms, incredible food, wonderful competent and friendly staff, gorgeous scenery, convenient parking and beautiful forest walks adjacent to hotel grounds.
We stayed in a triple room. The bathroom was extremely small for three. Breakfast room was almost too sunny. Everything else was wonderful. Great food, nice beds, good wifi and close to the village.
We had a lovely 2 day stay and found the location to the town fantastic. Everything in the town was a only a few minutes walk away. All the staff were great but especially memorable was the concierge Mary who gave us expert advice on touring the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Thank you Mary, you were right we didn’t get lost!
Very comfortable stay. Beds very soft memory foam and with the windows cracked, temperature was perfect. Just put a sock under the shade to keep it from swaying with the breeze. Tight space as pictured. I used the seats to put my luggage on at night. Water pressure was amazing. Kitchen well equipped and had an air fryer. Fridge has a freezer so I could freeze my cold packs for the road. Perfect location for peace and quiet yet close to Kenmare. Check out the nearby stone circles.
Lovely hotel! Extremely comfortable and quiet. The restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent and the morning's breakfast was superb! The staff was super friendly and nice and the property was very clean and nicely maintained! Would stay here again, overall excellent place to stay!
Lovely small hotel with on site breakfast bistro, full service restaurant and 2 taverns. Very close to all the shopping, restaurants and attractions that Kenmare offers. Ideal location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older property that has been well maintained. Very comfortable bed. Parking is available on location. If it’s full, park in the adjacent gravel lot that seems to be unattached to the Lansdowne but available for anyone to use.
Large rooms very considerate staff,food in the bar was good,no idea why this hotel only gets a three rating - I would score significantly higher than three stars. Great shopping for Irish produced clothing
House 15 was such a gem in Kenmore. From the start, Caroline was so welcoming and delightful. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed. Caroline had great recommendations for us around town. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! If I find myself back in Kenmare, I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy bed with good pillows. Simple room but clean. No ac but had a fan in the room for airflow. Music from downstairs might bother some people, but we enjoyed it. Fantastic location but parking was not great; we recommend parking across the street from the church for free.
