Sandman Hotel Edmonton West
10/10 Excellent
"Staff os always friendly. The pool is difficult to access from the tower with children but otherwise it's a wonderful property. 5 minute drive to the West EDM mall."
"The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Property was clean with the exception of the elevator floors. Staff were nice. We ate dinner there and while the roast beef sandwich was tasty, it was basically a lettuce and tomato sandwich. Location was very close to the West Edmonton Mall."
"Room was clean, beds are comfortable. The air conditioning is something that needs to be better controlled, we set our room to 19, and in the middle of the night it would kick off and start to heat the room to 22.
The hallway is however were minus 10 lol
Ice machine on 2nd floor did not work. The phone did not work to call ok out( not a big deal as we had cell phones)
The free breakfast that's included with your stay consist of pancakes waffles, eggs, sausages, tater tots, baked beans and muffins yogurts and such
Overall this day was good I would stay at this hotel again"
"This is my favourite hotel to stay in Edmonton. The staff are so, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are pleasant, and you get good views - in some cases, excellent views. Ask for a room with a view when booking. Everything was neat and clean.
The hotel being downtown is so central to all the places I needed to visit. I highly recommend Chateau LaCombe."
"the room was fine and what was expecting. what i didn't like was having to pay in cash for my stay. i didn't know i would have to do this and made it difficult as i didn't bring a large amount of cash with me. i was told basically no choice as i was staying till monday and IT would be doing some maintenance. needless to say i had to use the atm there which charges 2.75 a transaction. i had to do 3 withdrawals in this case. happy i was not and no fault of the young lady at the counter."
