Wonderful, wonderful experience. The restaurant was fantastic, check in was a breeze, the room was clean and well taken care of. But, above all else, the staff at the check in counter were amazing. We had a one night reservation but got stuck in the huge and horrible July rain/thunder storm. Roads were closed down due to flooding and unsafe road conditions and the threat of a dam breaching. The wonderful young ladies took great care of us by extending our reservation by 2 more nights and even...

The staff from maintenance, kitchen, wait staff, house keeping, gardening and front desk went out of their way to make sure my stay was the best I ever had. I would go back in a heart beat .

The room was great more spacious and comfortable than many of the places I've stayed that charge 3x the price. Staff was friendly and accommodating, neighborhood pretty and quiet. A bit of a drive from Halifax core but we'll worth it for value

We loved our stay at Fairmont House B&B! Fantastic staff and service and very convenient location right on waterfront of Mahone Bay. Michael and Thomas serve a delicious breakfast every morning that surpasses any restaurant in the area and the rooms are comfy, clean and have a great view. Highly recommend and we will be back again!

Fabulous view. I would come back.

The views were amazing! There were large picture windows on both sides of the room-one looked on a woodsy marsh and the other onto the Atlantic. The room was small but had everything needed. They even included “whitener” for your coffee. A short walk back gave an amazing classic Nova Scotia view.❤️

A charming country inn atmosphere with all the updated travel benefits. Welcoming and accommodating guests needs for a relaxing stay. Breakfast and dinner available upon request. Lovely front garden and deck with tables, chairs and umbrellas overlooking the bay. There’s a short path to the beach directly opposite the hotel. Extremely clean.

Best place we have stayed at on this trip. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful. Our room was just remodeled. Bathroom was very roomy, new big tile shower with water that is hot not lukewarm. Comfortable beds with big fluffy pillows and big fluffy towels. It even had real coffee cups and wine glasses plus plates and bowls. Nicer than some of the name brand chains we have stayed at. I would definitely recommend. Clean room and comfy beds

The Rum Runner Inn is in a great spot in Lunenburg. Beautiful sunrise view of the harbor area. Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing downtown. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and at the inn, along with convenient access to many activities like whale watching. Easy access to parking as well.

Very clean and quiet room. I slept amazingly! Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have the breakfast due to having plans, but it looked fairly decent for a hotel breakfast. Coffee machine with espresso style Coffee in the lobby was great. I had my dog as well and it's pretty easy to get out for a nice walk just off the property.

The unit was fine with the exception of no shampoo in the shower.
