"This was our third stay at the Marina Inn. Staff are friendly and helpful, the property is well maintained and there are a couple of good restaurants next door. We will stay here again."
"This is a charming, old-fashioned hotel in a perfect location. My room had a view of the Union Square Christmas lights. It is not slick or modern: think of it as European and you will see its charms. The room was comfortable with everything you need. They warn you in advance that there's no air conditioning but most of the time in SF you don't need it, and there's a ceiling fan and the windows can be opened. There is always coffee and cookies available in the lobby and the tiny bar was popular, thanks to a two-for-one coupon for guests. The neighborhood seems to be making a comeback after some rough years. It was a lot cleaner than I remembered, and I went to two great restaurants that were new to the area. "
