Both the Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Museum of Modern Art on beautiful old Royal Barracks ground are nice to visit. It is a bit of a walk to other places, but still an excellent comfortable hotel, with nice pool for relaxing — not swimming, but hydrotherapy.
This hotel is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortably nestled just outside Dublin, it’s quiet and peaceful and gorgeous! The staff were amazing, The Spa was to die for, and I would only ever want to stay at this hotel if I come back to Ireland :) if I could do a rating of more than 5, I totally would!
Having never been to Dublin before, we carefully considered where to stay. We couldn’t have made a better choice than the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin. Location, location, location! Very nice hotel with nice amenities and excellent buffet breakfast with savory and healthy options. This property was a great value compared to others we considered, but performed better than the rate would suggest. We were very pleased and have high standards for hotels.
I recently stayed at Beckett Locke in Dublin with my family, and our experience was outstanding! The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Dublin, with easy access to the Luas train right next to the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The receptionist even gave us a mini tour of the first floor amenities, which made us feel more comfortable and at home.

We had a lovely stay at Camden Inn. Clean, comfortable rooms with updated furniture and flooring. Bathroom was a nice size and bedding was soft. Staff was nice at check in. Breakfast offerings were immense and wonderful, however no service at all. Hard to find anyone who spoke English and couldn't get simple things like a pot of coffee. Breakfast was expensive, but we found that to be true everywhere. We would stay again and recommend the property to others.
This was a great hotel for my weekend trip. The room was cozy, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was helpful. It was in a quiet area, but I could easily walk to any attractions.
We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.
Really fun, eclectic hotel. Nicely decorated. Everything in the room (AC, lights, curtains) are controlled by an iPad which was really easy to use. Very comfortable bed. Great bar in the lobby. My only complaint was a lack of coffee in the room.
This was our second time staying at the Arlington Hotel. It is a lovely historic hotel with a restaurant and bar on site. As well as live music nightly for entertainment. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with all of your basic needs met. The staff is always smiling, very kind, knowledgable and helpful. Excellent stay for my first time in Dublin. Room was upgraded, I received check in at 10am after a long flight and they boxed up a wonderful breakfast for me for the next morning so I can catch a very early ferry to Wales. Such a friendly and helpful stay!!
We had a wonderful stay. It’s perfectly located near Grafton Street with tons of shopping, restaurants, and pubs within a short walk. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bartender and bellman gave us fantastic recommendations including a short pub crawl that ended at a nearby pub with traditional Irish music which was a highlight of our trip. It’s a gem of a hotel.
Friendly staff. Close to many restaurants, bars & shops. Darkey Kelley which has the most amazing Guinness Stew in my opinion, was right next door. They had attentive staff, tasty food and live music. Beds were comfortable and because of the location we had a very quiet nights sleep. Definitely would book again.
