Both the Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Museum of Modern Art on beautiful old Royal Barracks ground are nice to visit. It is a bit of a walk to other places, but still an excellent comfortable hotel, with nice pool for relaxing — not swimming, but hydrotherapy.
Spent a week in Dublin at The Green and could not have been more happy with our decision. Location is excellent, very walkable and centrally located between local and more tourist destinations. Trinity College and Molly Malone are a quick stroll, Temple Bar is a little further (15ish minutes). Local Tram across the street to get to spots further away. St. Stephen's park also right across the street. The weather we had during our stay made the park a nice added bonus.

A really nice hotel within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The adjacent pub, Darkey Kelly’s has great beer and Irish dishes as well as live traditional Irish music.
This hotel is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortably nestled just outside Dublin, it’s quiet and peaceful and gorgeous! The staff were amazing, The Spa was to die for, and I would only ever want to stay at this hotel if I come back to Ireland :) if I could do a rating of more than 5, I totally would!
Having never been to Dublin before, we carefully considered where to stay. We couldn’t have made a better choice than the Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin. Location, location, location! The Gresham sits on bustling O'Connell Street, just a hundred yards from the Spire of Dublin and the lively shopping area of Henry Street. We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay.
Hotel staff were great. They were very friendly, and helpful. They offered to get a taxi for us, confirmed our return trip reservation trip to the airport with Airport Collections. Also provided excellent directions with circles on a map to popular locations we were going to. To top if off they even ordered a pizza for us.. Truly a great experience.
This was the first stay in Dublin and I’m glad it was here! We were a block away from a hop on hop off bus tour (which we used for transportation while staying here). Also, a convenient store a block away too! I wish I remembered to get the guy at the front desks name, because he was such a gem! Helped every time we had questions and even offered a free drink on my birthday (reason for the trip). The room was spacious and had great big windows to people watch. Excellent service at the front desk, prime location and surprisingly fun interior - it was as if a good, solid hotel hired a designer who said "this place needs more whimsey - what the hell, let's go all out!"
Hotel was beautiful and rooms were perfect size for a few night stay in Dublin! We truly enjoyed the distance to everything it was all walkable! And staff went above and beyond for us!
