"Very stylish hotel. We took a twin room with kitchenette. Great views from the 11th floor (although we were facing the suburbs rather than the city centre). The odd shape (because it's a round tower) means you get some small seating areas and weird angles but still comfortable enough for breakfast or reading a book. It's right next to the railway line so you will probably hear trains going by in the background but it didn't bother us. Small problem with water supply during our stay which was...

"This hotel was located in a great place, just 2 mins walk from Copenhagen train station. The staff was polite and helpful, the breakfast was pretty good and the restaurant had a nice decor. My room was spacious and came with a basin (something I really loved), 2 chairs and a hangar rack. The common toilet was always cleaned and available whenever I needed it. Finally, the price was pretty reasonable too for Danish standards. Will recommend this place to other guests!"

"Everything was as expected from the description, and I had a pleasant stay. The staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the hot shower. The location is also good, with plenty of restaurants and nice cafés nearby. The neighbourhood felt pleasant and convenient for exploring Copenhagen. Overall, a good stay and I would happily stay here again."

"We had a nice stay. The room and bathroom Were small but clean. The windows opened and there were no screens. That was perfect for us because we love sleeping with the windows open. We were on the fifth floor. It was a great location. Close to the Central train station and metro. Felt very safe. There was a 7-11 one block away which was great for drinks. It was a quiet neighborhood while we were there in mid May. We will go there again"

"Overall, this is a great property and I would highly recommend. A five minute walk away from the metro, mini restaurants/café/bakeries nearby. Area is quiet. While the rooms are nice and the amenities that they provide are good, the ones that are not provided can at times be inconvenient. For example, the rooms do not have kettles, nor is there coffee/tea in the reception. If you need a midday coffee that will cost you 44 kroner. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing when you were comparing cost of properties. Also worth noting that housekeeping does not happen unless you request a day in advance Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Scandic Sydhavnen Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, modern, functional and conveniently located near the train station. Staff overall were friendly and helpful. In addition to our two night stay at the hotel, we purchased two breakfasts and one dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food and service at the restaurant were very good. The only comment we have in regard to the hotel is about the charges for our dinner at the restaurant. After our meal, the waiter brought me a handheld terminal that displayed the bill and included a tip preset of 20%. I paid the 20%, as I usually do in the USA. I later learned that this is an excessive tip in Denmark. I believe that tourists to Denmark should be aware of this."

"Excellent hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, great amenities (highly recommend the spa), and always clean and tidy. We loved the use of organic foods and materials and the adjacent car is really nice. The only downfall is the noise from the street. We found it to be noisy most evenings and struggled to sleep."
