"Wonderful property just outside of Bern. Very clean and comfotable room. We had a huge balcony on 3rd floor room. Staff super helpful on how to get to places by public transportation- tons of buses and trams. Food at hotel restaurant was very good, but pricey compared to other cities in Europe. This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! First I must say this was not my first choice. I usually book the 'day of' when I arrive in a city, but this time, there was nothing reasonably priced so I found this place. I was at first a bit disappointed that I was not in the city center BUT it turns out it was a 4 stop bus ride which was about 6 minutes to get to the main train station. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again. The hotel is located right in the middle of the old town, with easy access to restaurants, cellar bars, bear park, and the river. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Bathroom small and very neat. Quiet and good location. Hotel gave us a free transportation card for bus and tram for downtown. Bern is a beautiful city.
Regarding the price that I paied the hotel was very good. It is not far from centre and the breakfast was perfect. I will go there again if i want yo visit there again in the future.
