As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. Really loved staying here! We booked pretty late for our trip so we knew that this hotel was not near the city center. However it was a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station and then a 30 min metro ride to the center of Madrid which goes by a lot faster than you think. We were worried about using the metro but it was actually pretty easy!

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. The hotel consists of two buildings. We had booked a triple room which was not available due to work being done in one of the buildings. We were given two connecting rooms which was even better. The modern style rooms were on the small size, but were clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom towels were like new and the bedding was very comfortable. We had no problems with the free wifi. It was Ok, nothing notable to say or report. The bedsheets were clean and crisp, the hot water was warm.The thermostat could not be adjusted so a warm room to sleep in was not a comfortable sleep. I’d like to say “you get what you pay for” but in this case it was just Ok. I recently stayed in two Vincci hotels in both Santander and Bilbao and was very happy and satisfied at both locations. Would I stay here at this particular location again? I think not …
