The property is perched on a hill and access was difficult - narrow and winding roads. Beautiful view! Upon first glance, the property looks great! However, it is no longer in the same condition as in the photos. The chandelier was covered in dust, the head of the bed was not clean. The strangest thing - they don't provide hand soap. The bathroom 'amenities' were outdated by several years and are made of the cheapest harmful ingredients. The little containers weren't even clean. There is a little kitchenette area, but no towel etc is provided. When I asked for a kettle, they acted like it was an absurd request to want to drink tea. The outside seating area is lovely, except that we weren't notified before coming that there would be poison ivy parts floating in the air that would irritate if the seating area was directly sat upon. We only found out about that on our second day after having experienced that reaction.
Once you are there, it's a peaceful location - but there weren't many people there the first day.
The floor to ceiling windows in the bathroom are transparent and this is not stated. You are able to see outside and be seen from outside while sitting on the toilet. How... romantic? After an accidental sighting, I inquired about this feature and was then informed of the switch to toggle it on and off.
The shower head was dirty and sprayed in all directions instead of rainfall style. Water pressure - forget about it. There was no hot water for showering at night.
